The Silver Force Destroyer is one of those rare ships capabale of defending itself alone in the face of an attack by a squadron of Dark Pirate vessels. It combines extremely powerful motors, capable of explosive acceleration with a complete weapon system capable of facing every situation. Its armor is highly-resistant and completed by 12 auto-configurable deflectors and jamming systems that make it possible to deflect enemy missiles. The terrifying noise and light weapons often petrify the enemy during a surprise attack. Each robot pilot is assisted by an intrabio-neurotronic brain. The Destroyer is ideal for taking command of a fleet and coordinating the phases of battle.

The ship is also completely appropriate for conducting exploration missions. It can collect an ernormous body of information on an unknown area very quickly. It is armed with radar systems and sensors. Its missile launcher has been modified in order to be able to project sensors in a 2 light year beam. The Destroyer's independence enables it to carry out missions of several weeks duration and it can also supply Patrols or Raider units on joint missions with the Destroyer.

The basic model in 'Eagle' mode can be transformed into two different configurations. The 'Galaxy Explorer' mode is used for exploration missions far into unexplored space. The power of the vessel is transferred to its movement and detection functions, the defense and attack systems are reinforced to counteract unexpected obstacles that might arise during this plunge into deep space. This transformation makes it possible to travel for several months, even years, if it finds no enemies to fight on the way.

Sometimes a Destroyer must defend a plant and its inhabitants alone. Then the vessel can land on the planet and change to the 'Planet Defender' mode. This transformation makes it possible to transfer all of the energy of the movement systems to the defense and attack systems. The Destroyer becomes an impenetrable fortress capable of facing a considerable energy force.
